The Crucible of You: Write Yourself from Hurt to Healing

$255.00

We don’t live in our lives. We live in the stories we tell about our lives. And we may not realize how our stories about difficult experiences are hurting us. This workshop will offer a series of poems, prompts, rituals and writing exercises designed to mine “failures” for wisdom and alchemy. We will explore ways to rewrite what hurt you into what eventually heals you. You’ll gain tools and strategies for writing as a transformational practice, and you’ll leave with several poems, essays or story starts (you choose) to return to on your own.

Thank you for creating a safe and welcoming place for each of us to process our most difficult struggles. We all responded from our depths to that lovely invitation, led by your own bravery in sharing and – literally – prompting us to share. It was a quite significant life-altering day for me

I have to tell you that, since the workshop, I have had a great clearing of formerly-clogged channels, and am just sailing along, in my writing and in my life in general. Whee! and thanks.
